I have never felt more welcome at a tennis club than I have walking into Plaza Tennis in Palm Springs, California. Great place! I was on a business trip when I was dying to get out and play, and I discovered this club just down the street from where I was staying. The staff was very friendly, willing to plug me into their weekly match schedule that they arranged each morning, and found exceptional players for me to play against.
There were several pros on duty, they had a well stocked tennis shop, and they had a ball machine to rent if there wasn’t anyone to play against. I have gone back to California since that trip and had to go back to Plaza Tennis!
